October 5, 2015USCIS will increase SEVERAL immigration fees starting December 23, 2016
October 26, 2016Effective the week of March 7, 2016, USCIS offices in Chula Vista and San Diego will move to the new location!!
The two USCIS offices; San Diego office (located at The Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building 880 Front Street, San Diego, CA) and Chula Vista office (located at 1261 Third Avenue, Chula Vista, CA) have now been consolidated into one office. The new USCIS office is located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor at 1325 Front Street, San Diego, CA 92101 (also known as the “110 Plaza” building). The new building is in downtown San Diego and not far from the old location.
The new USCIS location has an exclusive entrance and dedicated elevators, private offices for applicant interviews, comfortable waiting areas, and a naturalization ceremony room to welcome new U.S. citizens. Please note that this is the relocation of only USCIS offices, and not the application service center (ASC) which will remain at the same 2 locations: in Chula Vista (at 1655 Broadway, Suite 22, Chula Vista, CA) and in San Marcos (at 727 West San Marcos Blvd, Suite 101, San Marcos, CA)
USCIS anticipates that the relocation will have a minimal effect on customer cases already in process. The move and consolidation will result in procedural changes that may impact current processes USCIS has in place. Where necessary, local USCIS staff will reach out to discuss any such changes.
